Samson is our only store-bought cat ~ but he was worth every penny. He's only older than Delilah and Cassidy by a couple months, but he's definitely the ruler of the roost. He's part siamese, is very vociferous and acts very dog-like. He's also the worst beggar of the bunch ~ thus the big, fat belly on him.

First of all, Delilah is a boy. We got him from a neighbor, and he was such a ball of fur we couldn't tell if he was a he or she. Since we already had a Samson, we took a shot & named him Delilah, hoping he'd turn out to be a girl. We were wrong, but the name stuck.

Delilah is just the sweetest cat with the best personality. He and Samson don't get along very well, though (Samson doesn't like him). As you can probably see in this picture, Delilah is polydactyl ~ meaning he has more toes than he should.

Cassidy is our little Levittown cat. She's very fiesty for how little she is and wants to take on every cat that comes near our house. Cassidy is known as our 'faux calico'. We agreed to take her sight unseen because I was told she was a calico, which is a type of cat I always wanted. She is multicolored, but isn't a real calico ~ thus the nickname faux calico stuck.

China is our most timid cat, but she just has the sweetest demeanor. I always wanted a calico and in 3 attempts (Samson, Delilah & Cassidy) I didn't get one, so when we heard the SPCA had calicos for adoption I couldn't resist.

As you'll notice, like Delilah, China is also a polydactyl. At the SPCA people were passing her over saying "there's something wrong with that one's feet", but she's perfect to us.

Terrapin is our little terror. This cat knows no fear whatsoever and terrorizes our other cats every opportunity she gets. She knows 2 moods ~ cuddly angel or terrorizing devil. We came across Terrapin at my work's summer picnic. There were 2 wild kittens running around ~ a solid black one and a tortoise shell. When I picked up the tortoise shell and she snuggled right up against me, I had to have her.

Charlie is an outdoor cat that showed-up on our doorstep first in early October and then again in early November, which is when we took him in.  Our vet estimated him to be 5 months old at that time, but we don't know his exact age/birthdate.
